[SOLVED] Can I bend the pins of a USB Mini female port from 180 to 90 degrees?

I have a microphone with a broken USB mini port and ordered replacement USB mini ports. The ones I ordered have the pins coming straight out of the back and the microphone needs a port with 90 degree pins (pins coming out the bottom). Is it possible to bend the pins of my replacement port to 90 degrees? Or should I just order the correct USB port?
