can i blow my card with a hair dryer ( no bj jokes intended ) to clean the dust off

Its not preferable as it can pull in more dust and push that dust into places, but as long as you keep it on cold it shouldn't hurt anything.

I did that once, lol. It went okay. I had to buy a new 690... No jk. It works fine just keep it on cool

Blow for a little, feel the air and make sure it isn't too hot. If it is too hot just turn it off let it cool and repeat.

I've never seen a hair dryer that won't run on cold, I would not recommend using hot air at all. If it won't run cold go out and buy a compressed air can.

If it does not heat settings then at far enough distance to not keep it from getting too hot Is now too far away to get any usefull amount of flow.

Stop being cheap and just go get a can of compressed air. That is way cheaper then a new graphics card because you damaged it.

the air pressure is far too low to be useful. it blows high volume at low pressure, which can blow the dust out of a computer case but not a small tight graphics card. buy a compressor. you're a man? don't own an air compressor yet? WTH is wrong with you!?!?
