Can I Breadboard a PC with Aftermarket Cooler?

My power supply recently failed and I'm not sure what components are still functioning properly. I want to breadboard some components with an old motherboard that I have, but I'm not sure that it's possible with an aftermarket cooler that has to be mounted from the back of the motherboard. I also want to make sure that the cooler is compatible with the motherboard in the first place, because it isn't explicitly mentioned in this list http://www.cryorig.com/comp_list_detail.php?id=8 even though it claims to be compatible with fm2+ socket motherboards on the box. Thanks for any help and sorry that I'm a bit of a noob.

Components - Cryorig h7 cpu cooler, gigabyte-f2a88x-d3h mobo, AMD A10-7700K apu.

Yeah,

Support the board of AM2+ it will have 2 universal brackets,

Used a similar cooler on the same board when I had my old rig.

You should have no problem placing the motherboard on a wooden tabletop or other non conducting surface.
You start the motherboard by momentarily touching the two PWR pins on the front panel header with a screwdriver.
