i dont know about changing processors and motherboard .
I bought GTX 750 ti .My friend said it would not bottleneck with AMD athlon II X2 260 processor.
but i dont know . Watch dogs and assassin's creed unity lags even at medium settings.
MY specs are
processor: AMD athlon II X2 260@3.2GHz
mobo: digilite DL-960GM-GS3 FX
RAM : 8GB
GPU: GTX 750 TI

should i change my processor ?

Solution
You need to check your boards webpage and find the cpu compatibility list .
But even then you will probably find that there are no new processors available that will run in that mb .

It will probably run a Phenom ll processor and if it does finding one second hand will be your cheapest upgrade option
