Can I change the antenna that comes with my motherboard?

I plan to buy the ASRock Z77E-ITX motherboard, But I really hate the antenna that comes with it. I would much rather it be like the one on ZOTAC H67ITX-C-E where it actually looks like an antenna and doesn't just look like a mess of cords and a weird looking box. Can I just swap out the antenna with another one? Like maybe one off of an old router I have or something?
