So i just bought the 960 and it wont fit in my prebuilt pc. I was wondering if i could buy a new case and simply transfer everything into there?
The pc is a acer x3-710.
Thanks before hand for replying.

Alrighty, yeah it appears that the case would be too skinny for most GPU's. You should probably get a new case. You also may want to consider adding more RAM or getting new RAM (I recommend at least 8GB of 1866mhz, Kingston HyperX is great).

So I can help you pick out a new case I will need to know: what is your budget for upgrading your PC?
Yes you can absolutely do that! Have you had any experience with doing this before? If it's your first time I highly recommend watching YouTube videos about everything you even slightly doubt your capabilities on. Might take you a day or two if it is your first time, but it should be fun and a good learning experience.

If you have any questions you can ask me. I can help you pick out a good case too if you can give me a list of all your specs!

P.S.: you might also want to consider returning and getting a different 960 that might be smaller and fit in your case, but I'm not sure if they have one, would have to do some research.

Thank you for the quick reply! Currently im looking for a mid tower case which could fit this rig.
And if you want the full specs, here they should be in the link i posted.
Im just trying to upgrade my graphics card so i can get higher fps i while im playing. The card i currently have, 745, is not that good anymore and doesnt give me the frames i really want.
