According to https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c04608119#AbT1I want to upgrade my RAM on my laptop HP 255 G4 Notebook PC, but i want to know if i can even change my components before trying it.
note:
Due to the non-industry standard nature of some third-party memory modules, we recommend HP branded memory to ensure compatibility. If you mix memory speeds, the system will perform at the lower memory speed.
Memory is non customer accessible / upgradeable
I'm just guessing about their wording but.By the note, memory is non customer upgradeable, i can't upgrade my memory. But why does it say in standard that i can have
- 8192 MB (4096 MB x 2)
- 8192 MB (8192 MB x 1)
What do you mean by some disassembly? I can't just open up my laptop and add another 4GB of RAM?
