Question Can i change keyboard's white backlight to RGB?

So my Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 laptop keyboard keys started to stop working, first D then W slowly gave out. I have confirmed that it is hardware so I am looking at ebay to buy a replacement keyboard (no palmrest) but have the option to get a RGB keyboard (my laptop came with white backlight), can i get an RGB one and set that up? or no. Also I am aware that the ones from ebay could well be aftermarket copys, but I would rather not spend the cost that lenovo sells them with a palmrest, thanks in advance.

shows that you should have compatibility with both variants on your SKU.

To be on the safe side, I'm assuming you've disassembled the laptop to see of your keyboard and hos it's mounted, pass on an image of the PCB for your laptop after you've remove the cover for said laptop. Host your image on Imgur and then pass on a link for us to see.

On the far left I do see where you would put the cable for RGB but im more unsure about being able to get it to work on the software side and Idk how that would work.
