Hello, I just like to assemble my old pc. It has a Kingston ddr3 8gb 1333mhz. Can I mix the Kingston ram with a Samsumg pc3L 12800u 11 13 b1 ram??? I'm not familiar using Samsung ram. I like to add more ram and only this Samsumg pc3L 12800u 11 13 b1 appeared on the search. Please give me advice.

Thanks to all

This depends on the the computer being used.

Generally, mixing memory modules is not recommended because of high possibility of the modules being incompatible with each other. It is therefore recommended getting a dual channel memory kit instead where the memory modules within the kit have been tested for and guaranteed to be compatible with each other.

What is the make and model of the system?
Or, what is the make and model of the motherboard?
And what is the make and model of the CPU?

It might be compatible with your board but i certainly wouldnt mix two kits of different ram.
If you need more ram i'd recommend to just buy the same kit you already got.

Mixing your ram might work, it might not.

Thanks for the extra information.

As mentioned above, mixing individual memory modules is risky, the modules may not be necessarily compatible with each other.

Here are some suggested compatible 2 x 8 GB dual channel kits to consider instead -
