Right now i have installed the VENGEANCE® Pro Series — 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 1600MHz C9 ( https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categ...AM-1600MHz-C9-Memory-Kit/p/CMY16GX3M2A1600C9B )
My brother upgraded his, and gave me the XMS3 — 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz C9 ( https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categ...DDR3-1600MHz-C9-Memory-Kit/p/CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 )
I was thinking if i could add them to my current to reach 24GB of ram, so i put them in, but my pc didn't start at all, instead it made 4 short beeps. How can i solve this, if it;s possible at, that is.

my specs are these.

You can combine them and they might work, but they might not. You won't know until you try. Make sure to place the 2x8GB kit in A2 B2 slots first. |CPU Socket| |A1|A2|B1|B2|

Edit I was reading in a bit of a hurry and missed that you already tried them. Make sure you install them how I said above and also don't try using XMP. You will very likely need to manually set the timings. If CL9 does not work, try 10-10-10-30 timings.
