Question Can I configure to just use my other ram in expansion slot?

My laptop onboard ram has some problem.

My laptop has an onboard RAM and an expansion slot. I have BSOD almost all the time. I suspect my onboard RAM goes faulty (I dropped laptop twice, when i put
laptop in my bag, my bag dropped, the laptop has poor built quality). I have installed another RAM in the expansion slot.
So can I configure my laptop to just use the RAM in expansion slot ? Will that cure the BSOD, Crashes? Since it will it much more costly if i replace the laptop's motherboard. Thank you

No, it doesn't work that way.

Would be a good idea to see if you can get a backpack with better build quality.

You might want to also parse images of the damage inflicted on your laptop. I doubt it'd be a hardware issue, Speaking of hardware, you forgot to mention the make and model of your laptop. Please include the SKU for said laptop to help us two fold. OS and OS version(if on Windows 10)?
