Hi,
I am new to these forums!!
I have a printer (HP OfficeJet L7500 series, http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-l7500-all-in-one-printer-series/2511708) at home in the study. My modem is in the living room (other end of the house), on top of the TV because we have cable internet and cable TV (the modem needs to be near the cable TV box).
If I purchased a WiFi extender (TP-Link WA850RE, https://ebgames.com.au/pc-202145-TP-LINK-300Mbps-Universal-WiFi-Range-Extender-TL-WA850RE-PC), set it up to extend my existing network, took it to the study and plugged an Ethernet cable in from the extender to the back of the printer (the extender has an Ethernet port), would that connect my printer to my wireless network so I can print from any device (e.g. smartphone, laptop, desktop, tablet) connected to the network (connected through either the extender or the original modem)??
I thank everyone in advance for their help.
Jake
