I'm not an expert on mobile devices but I know for a fact that power requirements are going to be stretched and drivers aren't likely to be compatible. Short answer, no and it's not smart to try that as a power surge in your USB connector will often fry the touch screen making the whole thing worthless.

It is possible to connect USB accessories to Android via OTG cable. I have connected USB pen drives, keyboard, mouse and mini speakers but I have never connected a USB headset. OTG cables are cheap you can get it and try a USB headset, if you don't have this headset maybe ask friends if they .
