I have an android tab that comes with a separated nice thin keyboard with it.
Will it work."THE KEYBOARD ONLY WITHOUT THE TAB" if I connected it to my PC without any need of a program?
The keyboard comes with a micro USB Cable, suitable for any Android device, I will cut the cable and replace the male end with a normal USB size so I can easily connect to PC.
Don't ask me why, it's a long story.
Btw the keyboard does NOT have any wireless connection.
Sorry for bad English.

The answer is YES, "IF" you connect an android keyboard to a Windows machine it WILL work.
I have an android keyboard without a Windows key, instead there's a key marked with "ZzZ", obviously for putting the android device into "Sleep mood", but when I connect the keyboard to my PC that key worked just like Windows key and the keyboard worked just like any other Windows Keybord.

I have similar problem. I have a keyboard/dock for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
It has that wide connector. There are male and female connectors on the keyboard and I have a male USB A to male whatever-that-wide-connector-is. I tried to connect it directly to my laptop but it wasn't recognized. Do I need to connect it via male connector to the laptop (tablet connects to that)?
