I got a used PC with windows 10 on a m.2 nvme ssd. The motherboard I am using doesn't have a m.2 port. Is there an adapter that will convert an m.2 to Sata or something I can do because I don't have any open PCI slots.

We'd need far more details on all the parts associated here.
Which specific drive, etc.

But no, there is no NVMe SSD to SATA port converter.

And the Windows 10 on it is irrelevant. It would need a full wipe and reinstall anyway.

It is a Samsung, I cannot find a model other than a number of the back that says pm961, I have another system with an m.2 connector and another ssd that I can connect. Is there a way I could move windows from one to the other? If I can't install it in my other system.

Moving this Windows install that came from some other system will not work.

Please give us a clear description of exactly what you're trying to do, and with what parts.
