Unless the solid 8 pin power connector says PCIE or has a 6+2 pin splitting connection, it's likely a CPU power connection and should not be used on a GPU. CPU only will be 4+4 pin splitting or solid 8 pin and should be labled CPU on the connector. Your GTX 1050TI should only need the 6pin part of the 6+2 pin connector if it requires power.
 
I meant not additional power but other thing look for cpu's pcie compatibility
Your Ryzen 2200G is limited to 8x PCIE speed in the same 16x slot, but your GTX 1050TI is not fast enough to use the full data transfer speed of the 8x connection so it will not have a compatibility problem.

Asus cerberus 1050 ti - doesn't have 8pin PCIE power connector.

What OP is talking about, is PCIE x8 connection available for discrete graphics cards with ryzen 3 2200g.
I wasn't even thinking this is what the OP mean't until you mentioned it and I looked up the CPU specs.
