[SOLVED] Can I connect my benq xl2411p to the HP Pavilion - 15-ec1010nr?

Um I am kind of just not quite sure if it works or not, I am wondering if I can connect my benq zowie xl2411p to this laptop HP Pavilion - 15-ec1010nr to get the display running on the monitor instead of the laptop screen and have it display 144hz on 1080p

144hz over 1080 should be doable on any modern laptop, why not just try it and see?

The XL2411P is limited to 60 Hz over HDMI. Your laptop needs to have a DisplayPort output, which is somewhat unlikely.
