Can I convert system DDR3 to ddr5 VRAM

here are my system specs
AMD FX-4300
cx 500 watt psu
r7 260x 2 gb of ddr5
8 gb of ddr3
78lmt-usb3 motherboard
In this thread I would like to know if my current specs are good enough for gaming today and if not is it a possibility to convert 1 gb of ddr3 ram to vram for my graphics card I tryed doing this in my bios but when i go to adapter properties the same amount of video dedicated ram is shown is there a way to fix this, If i upgrade my cpu will my gpu give more fps?

You can maybe still run some games on minimum settings but your system is not that great for the newest games anymore.

There is no DDR5. There is GDDR5, which is a DDR3 derivative. GDDR5 is physically connected on your graphics card and cannot be removed. Even if you could weld system ram on a graphics card, it would not work better in any circumstances.

If your graphics card is on your motherboard, then it borrows system RAM so the graphics card can use it. It seems as yours is a separate card though. If the card has any dedicated memory (the 2GB you mention), allocating more system ram will only slow it down.

Sorry man, those are both weak GPU and CPU for todays AAA titles.
Gaining more FPS with upgrade depends on what you want to play though.
And last answer is: you can't convert system memory to video memory because that is not integrated graphic card.

Yup that's a little to long in the tooth now. I would say sell it on Craigslist or part it out and put it towards a new build

I believe that's the best one you can get for your current motherboard. Your GPU when you decide to upgrade it look for a rx 580 or 1060 6gb minimum to see improvements from your current GPU.

When I was comparing your GPU to a 1050ti it was a little back and forth performance wise so I would probably go for the CPU first and then the GPU
