Can i crossfire 2 different cards

i would like to find out if it is possible to crossfire a HD5770 with a HD3870

that means NO just to be totally clear You have to be within the same family to crossfire. So you can crossfire any two 57xx series together, or any 58xx series together, but not a 57xx with a 58xx, and definitely not a 57xx with a 3xxx.
