Can I crossfire a 5770 with a 6770?

There are already some threads about this question but no one's answers was 100% sure that is possibile to crossfire these two.
So I already have in my PC a Sapphire HD 5770 1GB with a Gigabyte z97x gaming 3, an i5 4440 and 8gb of Ram. Because I already have home a Sapphire HD 6770 1 GB, I am curios to try to crossfire them.
As this i can do it. Dp you think too?

And another question: do you know some kind of benchmark program where I can see the benefits between have only one card mounted and have two cards mounted?

It should work with the 6770 as the first card.

Use 3DMark Firestrike.

Here is the chart from AMD clearly stating that the 6770 and the 5770 can be used in a CrossFire scenario together.

The chart states that as long as the 6770 is the primary GPU you can add a 5770 as a secondary GPU.

Almost all of the threads on various sites link to this chart for questions about CrossFire compatibility.
