Can I CROSSFIRE triple AMD RADEON HD 6970s?

Hey all, I know this sounds insane but I really want to try this.
Here are my system components

1000 watt OCZ ZX power supply (80+gold)
EVGA 132-BL-E758 mobo
6 gigs G.Skill memory 667MHz
Intel Core I7 920 Quad core duo (4 cores, 8 threads) essentially an ocatcore. Single processor,running a native 2.8GHz
3 RADEON HD 6970 GPUs, Cayman
A couple Terrabytes of storage

I wish to run these cards in TRIPLE crossfire configuration.
Don't ask why, I like to try different things and have the resources, so why not.
Anyone here have any idea how to accomplish this? I just don't want to go and start connecting bridges with no idea of the consequences.
Thanks for all folks, I browse here on a regular basis and have solved issues using this resource.

if that PSU can push 90+ amps on the 12V rail you are good to go. and that's assuming that your 6970s are overclocked.

i was able to run 3x 6970s on an XFX 1000 watt platinum PSU just fine. all 3 cards were overclocked. only problem was micro stuttering. it was unbearable.

I have 2 6970's in xfire with a 750watt PSU, and it works fine(even OC'ed). 1000 Watt PSU I also have and should run 3 6970's just fine( just don't OC, due to powerdraw)...OCing these cards doesn't offer good performance gain or worse basic performance depending on games/applications. p.s. you will have to have a good 12+V rail or multiple 12+V rails to accomplish this feat. Also enjoy the new space heater your PC has now become( unless water cooling) I tried trifire but my MOBO doesn't have good spacing between 2nd and 3rd cards for proper cooling forgoing me really trying it out🙁
 
if you are water cooling the heat output from the GPUs themselves wont change. in fact it will be worse. water cooling is more efficient at moving heat energy from one place to another. so more of that heat will be outside the case and around you. you can't make heat disappear, that's the law of conservation of mass and energy

NO overclocking,,How did you make the connection? I just want to see how it performs. I am not a huge "critic". Trying different and new things is what I like doing.
