Question Can I damage a file while using and seeding?

Yes it's perfectly safe.
It depends on what "using" it means, IMO. Seeding should be a read-only operation. Using could be a read-write. So could writing the file while it is held as a seed, corrupt the seed? I don't know.

And I will say that it is the policy of Tom's Forums to not assist with pirate activities. Any discussion of questionable use of peer-to-peer will be stopped.
 
The only situation I can think of where simultaneously downloading and seeding can cause problems is if the download location are redirected to a slow/unstable usb thumb drive that isn't capable of handle multiple io requests.
Even in that scenario, most torrent clients have the ability to limit the rate of download/seeding if storage media gets unstable.
