[SOLVED] can I delete a video while the windows player doesn't exit?

I have thousands of videos unsorted that I want to check each by playing back them and delete those I don't want, but can I just delete it or remove it to the rubbish bin with keyboard shortcut but without having to exit the player??

In Windows Media Player for Windows 10, you can either right click the file/video and choose delete, or navigate with arrow keys and use the delete key.

It doesn't seem to have any option of delete nor the delete key works in WMP or Films &Tv

It works with my wmplayer.exe version 12 on Windows 10 1909 version 18363.815. VLC works the same way, for me.

In VLC, if you queue up a bunch of videos, you can delete one when the player moves to the next video.
It won't delete the currently playing vid.

But no need to exit VLC.
