Can I delete vir files

My daughter has thousands of "vir" extenstion files on her PC. Can these be deleted safely?

No, she is using a package called Spybot, but she used to run Norton Antivirus on that PC. Thanks.

they are old references from the norton!deleteing is safe.
then download avira free antivirus and run it!download ccleaner it is free and run it.run the register cleaner also in ccleaner too!
