can i delete windows.old?

so i had to do a windows refresh after wiping one of my ssd's(some how using the program screwed up my other main ssd), this may sound stupid but can i delete the folder it made windows.old? its 4.8gb and it all from my appdata so nothing affecting windows?

i always delete mine once i know everything is all ok

but you may need to use something like take ownership if it wont allow it to be deleted

did it though disk clean up, it was down as previous windows installation and now file is removed.

yes can also do it that way

i am just so used to right clicking to delete getting lazy lol
