Can I Disable BattlEye

What does it do? Can I disable it? It seems to cause 100% disk usage on my PC, so I would like to disable it. What effects will it have?

Its anti cheat, i imagine if you disable it you would be banned almost immedately from any games that you play that uses it.

Hello! I have an SSD, and sometimes get 100% disk usage spikes. It completely freezes my PC. It only happens every ~hour, but then it seems to set off a chain, and I get spikes every 5 mins from there. I have tried, and still have all of the list followed. (Eg: Windows search is still disabled, etc.)
Disabled Windows Search
Disabled SuperFetch
Reset Virtual memory
Performed Malware/Virus Scan
Updated all Drivers
Performed Disk Check
Changed my disk to 0 in a long, tedious process
Disabled Some Google Chrome Settings
Changed Power Setting to High
And probably some more. Also, It seems to be mainly caused by BeService. Thank you for any help!

what process is 100 % usage ?
Probably windows update (system)

If it is the case you have 2 options:
1- let it update and wait
2- disable windows update - i do not recommend doing

What is the rest of your computer ?
