Ok, I know this isn't the greatest setup, but a good budget setup!
I have a HP ENVY 700-215xt desktop with 8GB of ram, with a AMD Radeon r9 270x graphics card with 4GB vram. Also I have a ssd crucial mx200.
Can someone help me with the monitor route. Right now I have 2(two) HP 1080p monitors, they aren't gaming monitors. I do some gaming but also video production. That's why I want to lean towards a 4k monitor because it's like having 4(four) 1080p monitors.
1. Can this setup handle 4k?
(I know 4k won't be 60+ fps in gaming. But I know some 4k monitors can do higher fps in lower resolutions)
2. Is it worth going this route?
3. Should I stick to 2 or 3 really really good 1080p monitors.
Overall I need a mix that can be both gaming and video production.

ok the more I read and figure out what I can do. Since I don't have all the money in the world, I have a budget to stick to. Now I'm leaning more towards selling my 270x and getting a 380. Reasons are, the price is down to around $200 and I can sell my 270x for $175, somewhere around there.
I don't want to buy outdated tech and also not to be the first with 4k. The 380 supports the AMD freesync and monitors with it along with high hz is a plus.
Overall I found myself going this route, getting the 380 and getting the Benq XL2730Z

This setup I think will be amazing. Any thoughts?
