I am planning on moving to Linux because the privacy issues bother me on windows ten but I am a huge gamer and still want to be able to play all my games. finally i found a solution running windows in a V.M. and using hardware pass through for GPU acceleration, i found it in this
video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16dbAUrtMX4
but this video is working with the new Intel chips, basically I want to know if i can do this with my build and resources and tips on how

thanks

none yet do you have any recommendations.

I have not yet started on this project because it will be on my main pc and I would like to have it all planned out before I take it down to do all this stuff to it.

sure i use proxmox on all my computers its a free open source project. have tested it on old core 2 duo's, socket 604 xeons, socket 1366 xeons, i have had a issue with amd gpus on it. it is based on linux Debian. it does support gpu pass-through however i have never tried that on my system. another option is to run vmware esxi but the license for that is a bit pricey.
