Can I do GTX 1080 SLi with different manufactures?

hey,

I was wondering if its possible to run SLi with Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080 and MSI 4G Gaming? Because I cant get G1 Gaming anymore, they are all sold out or I don't know, what is going on. So will SLi work or will be problems because Gigabyte is faster than MSI?

yes, it will work, the system will just clock both cards at the lowest cards performance settings.

Yes you can sli it as long as they have the same amount of vram and both are 1080's

It should work as long as you can get the sli bridge on them. I believe the msi card is a bit taller so unless you have a flexible bridge it might not work.
