I reversed the rear fan to blow out so now its front blowing in and rear blowing out, but it only gave me a 4C decrease in idle temp. I ripped apart a mac clone i found laying around at work and got two 12v fans. They use, however, the short 3pin connectors like the type used by the cpu fan. I have my cpu/hs fan currently connected directly to my powersupply (fop 38), the cpu fan connector on the mobo is free. Can i use the cpu fan connector on the mobo to connect one of these fans?
