Can I team up an Athlon64 3200 with Kingston DDR400 RAM on a Gigabyte GA-K8NS Pro? It's mainly the compatibility of the RAM with the processor that concerns me.

sure. The <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-128-241&depa=0" target="_new">Newegg spec page</A> say's it will take DDR400
