Hello and thanks for looking in to my thread in advanced.

I´m a new/first time PC builder. I had a PC already and I wanted to switch out the Motherboard, CPU, Power Supply, Graphics card, and Ram. After switching all those out, I thought I was done. I thought I could turn on my PC and BAM, PC done. But, come to find out, that wasn´t the case. When I turned on my PC, I was prompted with the BIOS screen. I then click ¨Save and Exit.¨ It then did a quick restart and came back to the BIOS screen. I looked up the problem and nothing came up, BUT when I see tutorials they always plug in a USB or slide in a Disc with the Windows OS on it and then they proceed on with their computer.

So now, I´m trying to buy and then download the Windows OS on a USB, but I don´t have any other PC´s at my house except a Mac laptop. So what I´m asking is, am I able to plug in the USB into that Mac and download the Windows OS on the USB?

And I told the whole story because I´m new to this, so I have almost no clue of what I´m doing. So, If I´m forgetting to do something, then please tell me.

I´ve been waiting several months for this project of mine to come together. So, I´m very anxious for it to be finished. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

nope follow the tutorial above and it's pretty easy to do. can't break anything other than having to start over again and format the hdd.

do be sure to format the hdd once you run the usb stick. the old windows installation needs to be removed so the new parts can be installed correctly.
