Hey, I am building a custom pc, and wanted clarification on whether or not I can dual screen. The monitor(s) that I am buying are Acer G246HL, found here:
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/monitors/acer/acer-g246hl-24-led-lcd-monitor/585039/
It has one VGA, one HDMI and one DVI.
This is my graphics card, it has a DVI-D port, DVI-I port, one HDMI and one DisplayPort.

So, back to the question, how/will i be able to dual screen, and what cables will I be using? Thanks :)

I see only DVI and VGA inputs on the specs for that monitor, but that shouldn't be an issue. You can use DVI from the GPU to one monitor and VGA to the other monitor. You will need both a DVI-D or DVI-I cable and a VGA cable as they generally don't come with them these days.

Wouldn't it just be simpler to use a HDMI to on monitor, and DVI for the other? I probably sound like a massive noob, but since my graphics card has DVI-D and DVI-I, and my monitor has just DVI, will either of these cables work?
