[SOLVED] Can I enable my M.2 SSD and HDD at the same time?

First time builder and I am wondering whether or not it is safe and practical to use the SSD and HDD at the same time. (CAN they operate together or is it one or the other? Can I have them both plugged in at the same time or will this cause some type of shortage?)

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology (MZ-V7S500B/AM)

HDD: WD Blue WD20EZAZ 2TB 5400 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Yes it's normal. Have you ever plugged in a flash drive or portable hdd in a pc? They are seen as a different storage device. Same thing.
