Can i exchange my hp laptop to a new one

Hello,
I bought a new laptop on 26th dec 2011 and now the whole hardware and the mother board is defective i called several times to exchange my laptop they said they don't have a policy to exchange but replace the mother board as now i came to know that the board is not available so when i called them they said they cannot replace it could you help me with a suggestion.
I am from India(Bangalore) The model id HP 630 Hp laptop..

The best thing for you to do would be to call HP's customer service department again and inquire with them about your options. If you have a waranty, i do not see why they would not replace the laptop unless there are extenuating circumstances.
