Can I find the windoiws key on a laptop and use it on my nerw pc?

I really don't want to buy windows and I was curios if I could get a windows key from a windows 10 laptop and then use that key to do a fresh install on my ssd. Would that have any bad affects on the laptop?

no. the laptop os is oem for the laptop only
