No you can't. Your motherboard, that looks like this i suppose (http://www.ascendtech.us/acer-m5400-mb-se109-002-amd-motherboard_i_mb1090022103b9b.aspx) has an AM3 socket which is not compatible with newer CPUs like an AM3+ one. However, the other way around is possible.
