I'm looking to buy a new GPU but I'm concerned if it will fit. I know that my case is big enough, PSU has the connectivity and the motherboard has the correct PCI slot, however I'm not sure if the size is a problem. The GPU is around 26cm x 15cm and my motherboard is only ~20cm x 20cm, is it too small?

E: My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H and the GPU I'm looking at is Asus Strix r9 285

There are actually 2 pci-e slots on that motherboard, if you believe that the clearance could be an issue, just use the lowermost slot (in the image it's on the far left).

How greatly does that impact performance? That lower slot is 4x while the upper one is x16.

Oh, in that case, you are going to want to use the upper slot... You will probably have to use RAM without a heat spreader so that there is enough room for the card. Just find RAM with a low clearance lever and you should be fine.

This is also my concern, im planning to get a TurboDuo Powecolor R9 270 Non X, but should it be fit for a small motherboard like ASUS H81M-D
