Can i fit a h100i in a corsair 300r

the motherboard that i am using is a m5a97 r2.0 from asus but i am not sure for the vrm because it is a little big and i am not sure if this will prevent sticking an h100i to the top.

best way to be sure is to measure from the top of your motherboard to the top of your case , the 100i rad is 27mm thick plus fan 25mm say 55mm rounded off , you must include room for your 8/4pin eps cable to get through unless you get creative and route it elsewhere if you have that much room then you are good to go

Thanks but should i measure from the 4 pin connector to the top or from the vrm?

top of 4pin unless vrm is higher , make sure not to touch anything , don't get zapped, mite pay to power off and measure

MSI Z87-G45 Gaming will not fit with h100i/300r. Fans have be to forced down onto motherboard to make it fit- this makes contact with vrm.

It depends on the board in question. Some board are cleared, others have to have the fan shroud cut to fit, and in my case(situation, not the part) fans have to be mounted externally.
