I just ordered a Titan x pascal that the guy butchered the cooler on to slap an aio on it and the aio is 2 years old. As it stands I've searched top and bottom of every new and used retail site for a Titan x pascal cooler but came up empty handed. The only cooler I found was for a Titan x Maxwell and a few 1080ti coolers. I know the 780ti and the Maxwell Titan x have identical mounts but are the Maxwell mounts at the same locations on the pascal card.

Kinda also depends on the AIO, if it's something like a fractal design s24 or another 240mm, then I'd be inclined to keep it, but a Pascal Titan with a 120mm AIO? Ehh mebe not.

Just from a comparison picture, I'd say the coolers are somewhat different sizes, as will the bolt pattern be different.

I'm not sure I've also seen the hg10 m980 on the Titan x pascal also the cooler is a clc from EVGA and I'm not sure how good they are. Chances are I'll replace the cooler with a 1080ti cooler.

Well as far as that, the Evga aios are an asetek pump and rad, same as most others, only difference really being the fans and the print on the pump. As an aio though, they actually do far better than many, simply because the fans are not rgb. But they can get a little loud at high rpm. Price of performance I guess. So not a bad choice really. Could have been much worse.

The n980 is built for the Maxwells, (970/980/980ti/titan) not the Pascals, but you can get adapter brackets for it, however that voids any warranty and may still require some dremel work for the extra mosfets spacing etc.

If it were me, I'd just do a custom loop, easy enough to do relatively cheap with an EK kit and EK also has full vga waterblocks for the Pascals. That at least will allow for really opening up that titan, something you can't do with the reference cooler.

Noise is not a problem because I have 3 110cfm fans and they will drown out a gpus cries.

Hah, lol. Funny. Especially since the gpu will only weep, not cry out, with an AIO attached. If it is a 240mm/280mm it'll well outperform the stock aircooler, hope the vram/VRM's have heatsinks under that tiny fan shroud. Just make sure to keep a weather-eye on it for a while.

Yeah apparently the guy used it for 2 years as it is so I'll use it as it is till I find a pascal cooler or I decide to go for a full loop

Also worst comes to worst I order a 1080ti cooler and I use it to repair the Titan x cooler
