Firstly, apologies if this a repost, but I couldn't find a complete answer anywhere else.

So I'm using an MSI GE62VR (This has an HDMI and a USB (Not capible of DP ALT mode, or whatever it's called, as far as I'm aware) ) and I am using a Benq monitor (XL2430)

I have, of course, tried the options in windows and Nvidea control panel

I have tried a few different cables and things but nothing will give me 144HZ. All I want to know is whether or not there is any combination of cables and adapters that will give me 144HZ (I don't mind downscaling the resolution a bit if necessary)

Thanks in advance!

(NOTE: Probably irrelevant, but I am primarily intending to play CSGO with this setup, hence the need for frames, the laptop is perfectly capable of generating 200+FPS)

I feel like a total idiot now for not noticing that before, just assumed it was a printer port or something, thank you very much!
