Can i get 6GB ram by using 2x2x2

I am looking to upgrade and at the moment I have two 2gb ram sticks and I am looking to get 6gb so can I get another 2gb ram stick or does it have to be 4gb and 2gb?

BTW i have an old computer which is why i dont want 4 and 4 gb ddr2 ram or something expspensive...

look in your computer, if it has an extra ram slot yes you can. Although ram does not always mix and match well.
