I'm not really sure whether I can get the full speed of my m.2 ssd (wd black sn850) with my mother board msi b450 gaming plus max or not. I already tried a lot of things like updating bios n stuff but I still didn't get over 3200 mb/s read and 3000 mb/s write https://ibb.co/f09WXZ7. So I just wanna know if I can somehow get the full speed of my ssd some how cuz it would be pretty sad if I couldn't. Sorry if that's a pretty dumb question and if I'm just wasting yalls time.

Solution
It’s not possible on that motherboard. That motherboard has a gen 3.0 NVMe M.2 slot, that SSD is gen 4.0 and requires a gen 4.0 slot yo give full speed. Although backwards compatible it is limited to 3.0 speed.
thanks for answering! well rip to the money I could have saved
