I didnt put a case in (because I dont know what pleases you aesthetically)...so that would put you at least thirty over. 450 is rough. This board supposedly offers overclocking with a bios update (I would check (verify) on that if you consider it). And the processor is probably the best value once overclocked. Living by a microcenter would definitely make this build more doable. They have a deal for this processor and a z97 mobo for $100.
Edit: But overclocking might require a cpu cooler like the 212 evo.

i concur a hyper 212 evo would be the best budget for overclocking safely. however people have overclocked on the stock cooler hitting 80c and 90c temps. keeping in mind that this is a 2 core pentium class processor it aint made for all that and you might zap the poor little thing. so get the 212 evo if you can, and overclock on the stock heatsink at your own risk.... The most experience I've had at putting computers together is about 10 years ago inserting a RAM module into the computer. Is it going to be possible for me to put the computer together myself or will I have to take it to a computer store?
