Can I get a home printer with high enough resolution to print 4K photos?

I am all set up with a 4K computer and monitor. I would like to print 4K photos but the resolution of both my HP7510 and Canon Pro100 do not have high enough resolution to be able to print in $K. I don't know it it is even possible at home. Does anyone make a printer that will print 4K photos? I don't even know if it is possible! Any advice.

You're confusing media there, there is NO SUCH THING AS A 4K PHOTO PRINTER! Instead, printers have a DPI limit, usually ~600DPI, which for a 4x6 is equivalent to 3600 dots. The human eye can't see those dots from 12 inches. When you start printing 8x10", that's now 6000 dots on the long side.

Some printers like the Pro 100 print at a whopping 4800x2400dpi, which if you were to put into "pixels per inch" (not possible, lets just assume a reasonable circle of confusion) on a 8x10 it would be the equivalent of something like 16K!

In short, your printers already print perfectly fine, from the sound of it any problems are with your editing style and photography
