Question can i get beep signals without ram?

I'm having an issue with my computer that i just bought and i haven't been able to get any image.

coming down to start, without ram it doesn't beep and with ram it says ram is badly installed. is it normal? cpu or motherboard error? or can't find out?

How do you know it says "ram is badly installed?"

You usually can get a beep (assuming board suports it) without ram, but it might just beep about ram.

when i install the ram, it gives long continuous beeps. in gigabyte's site it says that signal means memory badly installed :/
