Can i get g-sync from a laptop?

Hello everyone

I have a g-sync compatible (freesync) acer 271up 144hz 1440p monitor

And an msi titan laptop it doesnt have optimus (no igpu the dedicated card is directly connected) and has mini dp 1.2

Can i get g-sync with the laptop if i connect the monitor with a dp to mini dp cable?

if the monitor does support G-Sync it would work.
just be sure any adapter or cable states it's resolution and refresh rate capabilities. a lot of generic models don't support as high frequency as others.
