I will play Just Cause 2,3 Watch Dogs 2 , GTA 4,5 and most of the modern games. Question is can my GPU and CPU handle them at high settings on 1080p?

@Battery005
I also use an AMD FX CPU and as of now is staying with my dual R7 370s. And I am GPU limited, yet able to reach 65-75 FPS in all the above titles at minimum settings except GTA V (40 FPS, GPU limited)
TBH no one will buy a second hand FX 6300 CPU esp. at stock in 2017. AMD Ryzen is coming.
You have 3 options.

1.Overclock your CPU. The FX 6300 is at 3.5 GHz base which with low IPC can lead to some CPU bottlenecking. I suggest you to overclock by another gigahertz to 4.5 GHz then maybe you can boost the 40-50 FPS to like 55-70 FPS. Then you nearly match i5 6400. Or buy a water cooler for $100 and shoot for 4.9-5.1 GHz. Then you match stock i5 6500.

2. Buy the i5 4690K. And a TX3 EVO. And a Z77 (87?) motherboard...

the 1050 ti can handle those games well at 1080p with tweaked settings

your cpu would be hard pressed though, those games are all very cpu bound

should be playable with mixed medium/high settings, mostly ~40 - ~50 fps

Thanks for replying. My 6300 is getting old anyway so I'm thinking of selling it just as you said it would be hard pressed. Can you suggest me some cpu within similar or somewhat higher price range which would run those games without myself being forced to compromise on settings?

This will guarantee that you are not CPU bottlenecked all the way to even future GPU upgrades, up to GTX 1080 or SLI GTX 980s. But if you want full ultra at 60 FPS you need a further GPU upgrade to GTX 1060 or RX 480 for another $250. Why 4th Gen? So you can reuse your RAM, IPC gain to 6th gen is not a lot and for the same price as a 6th gen one you can get a K chip and a Z board.

3. Deal with it. Cap your FPS to 30 and try to adapt to it. I mean that some people can but really, 2 frame VSync is not the worst nor the best but is tolerable by millions of players across the globe at 30 FPS. And your 40-50 FPS at Medium- High becomes 30 FPS Ultra.

Good luck. Hope you get a better chip then my dud chip. 1.6V just to get here...
