Yes you easily can, your motherboard has PCIe 16x which is very good, once you get the GPU make sure you put it in the PCIe 16x slot to get the maximum perfomance

I know the mid and high range modern AMD cards require UEFI - would that be the case as well with the RX 550?

You're welcome, you could also buy an RX 560 4GB if you have the money, if you don't have the money then the RX 550 2GB is your choice

Generally, at least in the US, the RX560 costs as much as the RX 570. At that point, it would be pointless to ge the RX 560.

My previous concern about UEFI would still apply, though.

True same, here in Greece the RX 560 costs 160 euros and the RX 570 180 euros

That motherboard's going to require a new cpu and ram as well. Your current cpu and ram aren't compatible.

I get that you want to get a gpu and all, but to get an RX 550 and then later grab a 2200g is... well, redundant.
The igpu in the 2200g offers about the same level of performance as the RX 550/GT 1030, provided you get the appropriate ram kit of at least 3000mhz.
Aim a little higher... say, Ryzen 2600?

i can see that its IGMAX model is ig-2560c and peek power is 560w

Forget it. You need to change the psu first and foremost.
It doesn't have the extra connectors needed to power even the 6-pin graphics cards. This unit was not designed for gaming setups.

If you can't change the psu first, then don't go any further than GT 1030/RX 550.
