Budget: $2000 usd -/+ Pending feedback
Main Focus: Gaming
Second Focus: Streaming (want to get into)
USA

Games: FFXIV, CoD, Resident Evil, Metro, Cyberpunk 2077, Crysis, New World, Lost Ark, Sims, Minecraft, Fortnite etc etc.

Non gaming things: Photoshop, movies, various spreadsheet apps nothing major.

Ideally, we'd love the ability to play anything on max 1080p. Not replacing monitors. No brand loyalties.

Both cases need replaced, dead ports. 2nd PC has some dead mobo ports also. Both were built 6-7 years ago.

Can we get what we want upgrading current systems?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

IMHO, that budget would suffice one full build done the right way. The extent of the PSU's age would mean that they might not be enough to power concurrent hardware unless you want to recycle the GPU and PSU's in your build as placeholders for a new PSU+GPU combo later down the road.

I'm not against full builds, especially since it would probably last longer. Would you be willing to suggest a build list for me?

Thank you for the welcome.

Looks good. Thank you for the extra info links.
Sure it's ok to reuse the PSU? Lutfij seemed a little concerned with it's age.
Also, I will be building 2 PCs so will still need a PSU.
Corsair RM850x 850 W 80+ Gold good or would you suggest another?
